This week’s feature did not turn out picture perfect but it still managed to smell amazing and taste pretty good too. My entire house continues to smell like bacon as I’m writing this post.
The results of my kitchen experiment are somewhat disappointing. I attempted to prepare this dish without a recipe and on hindsight, I wish I had at least researched the best cooking method for bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. I made the mistake of roasting my tenderloin directly in the oven without searing first. As a result, the bacon was not as crispy as I would have liked. Oh well, the real test is whether my kids and husband will eat it and lucky for me, they liked what they saw and tasted.
