Keep pantry essentials handy for quick and easy dinners

Nothing wrong with a little help from Campbell’s

Sometimes I just don’t feel like cooking. Especially since we’ve become an instant family of six with two international students staying in our nest. One of the easiest things to prepare for a big family is a pasta dish. It’s easy to throw together, looks good and tastes great.

What about the sauce? Prego or Hunt’s anyone? Well yes, you could just use a bottle of sauce and throw it on top of spaghetti but that’s kind of boring. How about using Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom soup and a can of evaporated milk for a creamy base and adding a can of tuna and roasted seasonal vegetables? Check it out:

I served this sauce with rotini pasta last night. No complaints. Just barely enough left for lunch! Another meal to add to my “I’m feeling lazy” repertoire.
