While I would like to think that I am a versatile blogger, I’m not quite sure I’m a dedicated one. I would like to be! Anyhow I am flattered that someone actually took the time to visit my blog and pass on this fun award. It’s a wonderful way of discovering new blogs to follow. Thank you Marcie!

7 Things About Me
1. I’m a little bit of a real estate junkie. For the last 4 years I’ve kept a close eye on the housing market, particularly in the neighborhoods that we had aspired to move to. Even after we found and moved into our dream home, I still frequently visit the MLS and browse through the listings.
2. Currently obsessed with home design and renovation shows and magazines. I love Brian Gluckstein, Sarah Richardson (been watching since the Room Service days), Peter Falico, Candice Olsen and that guy that is always on CityLine…Ramsin Khachi. Oh and I like Kimberly Seldon too.
3. Putting our old house on the market made me a better housekeeper. I watch enough HGTV to know that a clean, clutter free and somewhat staged home can make or break your listing. I had our place in such great shape that someone asked our realtor if the owners were still living in the home!
4. I read books I love over and over again. I’m currently re-reading my Jane Austen collection…again. Instead of cravings, I became obsessed with Pride and Prejudice when I was pregnant with my second.
5. I’m in love with anything damask. Especially black and white and for the record I totally liked it way before it became a modern decor trend.
6. I’m forever on the lookout for the perfect chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe. That and a ginger molasses cookie recipes like the ones at Starbucks. I love to bake but cookies are not my forte.
7. I spend hours researching and price comparing things I plan to purchase. As a secret undercover techie, I started reading blogs like iphoneincanada and androidincanada before finally deciding to purchase an iphone 4. I even spent days researching Thesis before caving and buying the theme which is kinda amazing by the way.
Hint: If anyone wants to send products my way for review I’d be more than happy…*cough* ipad *cough*.
